1. Amitabh Bachchan – Be honest, the man can even strengthen a sub-par script. His presence alone adds weight to the movie. Even when the story gets a little messy, he holds it together. 

2. The Concept – Mixing mathematics with gambling? Sounds pretty cool. The idea of cracking the Teen Patti code and using it in real life?That’s some level-up material. It provides the film with a distinctive spin.

3. Dark & Gritty Vibes – The entire world of underground gambling, the danger, the ethical dilemmas – it sets the mood. You know things are going to take a turn for the worse, but you still want to see it happen.

4. Ben Kingsley Cameo – Alright, alright, so his part isn’t enormous, but whenever a big-time actor like him appears, you sit up and take notice. His contribution brings in some Hollywood-grade legitimacy to the movie.

Where *Teen Patti* Does Not Succeed

1. Confusing Storytelling – The film switches between timelines, and honestly, it becomes a bit confusing. One moment you’re in a flashback, the next you’re back in the present. If you lose focus, you might get lost. 

2. Weak Character Development – Apart from Amitabh Bachchan’s character, most of the others feel kind of undercooked. You don’t really get emotionally invested in them.That’s an issue in a film that depends upon human emotions such as greed, fear, and betrayal.

3. Too Many Side Plots – The central plot is already complicated, but then there are these additional subplots which don’t feel needed. Some of them just don’t lead anywhere. It’s like the movie tried to do too much at once.

4. Comparisons to 21 – If you’ve seen the Hollywood movie *21* (based on the real-life MIT Blackjack Team), you’ll see some similarities. And not in a good way. *Teen Patti* feels like it’s trying to be *21*, but with an Indian twist. That’s not necessarily bad, but it does feel a little unoriginal at times.
